(Firecured) Bic lighters have been about the perfect cigarette lighter since they came out, many years ago. But not the perfect pipe lighter. Don't get me wrong, the Bic is a pretty good pipe lighter, except when it scorches the bowl, or you can't take that extra few seconds lighting because your thumb's on fire. Enter the EZ Reach. With it's short (1 1/2") "wand" you don't have to worry about burning your digits and it also allows for more finish friendly angling. It really shines when you're relighting the bowl halfway down.
But don't take my word for it, pick one up: at $3.50 for one or $5.75 for a pair, there isn't much to lose, except maybe a thumbprint.
