The Best-Cheapest Humidification

(Firecured) Just a reminder that the humble potato has been humidifying tobacco since time immemorial, and it is still good practice. Potatoes are always available and the cost, for humidification purposes, is next to nothing. Simply cut a chunk of raw, peeled potato and place it on a piece of towel in your humidor. If it doesn’t provide enough moisture, cut a bigger piece - too much moisture, make it smaller. When it dries up, replace it. That’s it, no propylene glycol, no distilled water, none of that weird green cemetery foam, just the lowly spud.
