Stolen statue returned to Las Olas Tobacconist

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- A statue has been returned to its rightful owner after it was stolen from Macabi Cigar Lounge in Las Olas Boulevard sometime during the weekend.
The Indian statue was found Sunday afternoon by a cab driver who was working on Fort Lauderdale Beach. "My day was made full of joy," said owner Patrick Patel.
Mark Carlisi said he saw the statue sitting on the side of the road by Breakers Avenue. He did not pay attention to it until he saw comments on Facebook that reported the statue was missing. Continued
