House Resolution Cigars fight the good fight



(Smokemag.com) Jeff Borysiewicz, president and founder of Corona Cigar Co. in Orlando, Fla., spends a giant chunk of his time fighting back against the ever-growing threats of government regulation of premium cigars. And like many in the industry, he’s focused much of his efforts over the past year on preventing FDA oversight of premium cigars.
House Resolution 1639, “The Traditional Cigar Manufacturing & Small Business Jobs Preservation Act,” is a pro-active bill written to prevent the FDA from taking away American’s freedom to purchase and enjoy cigars. To commemorate this historic event in the cigar industry, Boryseiwicz and Corona Cigar have collaborated with the J.C. Newman Cigar Co., America's oldest cigar manufacturer, to create House Resolution cigars. Continued
