(Cigar Aficionado) My Father Cigars is paying tribute to the Cuban heritage of cigars with their new Flor de las Antillas line. Each part of the project, from the seed to the vintage artwork, is a tip of the hat to Cuba, the largest of the Greater Antilles islands.
“The name was chosen to honor Cuba, which has always been referred to as the flower of the Antilles,” said vice president of sales José Ortega.
The box-pressed Flor de las Antillas (the Spanish spelling) is a Nicaraguan puro with a sun-grown wrapper leaf. My Father Cigars says the cigar is blended with several Cuban-seed tobaccos. Continued
