Tobacco Company given ultimatum to pay Uganda farmers


(ugpulse.com) The minister of state for trade and cooperatives, David Wakikona, has given Continental tobacco company up to end of April to pay all the tobacco farmers across the country or risk losing their license of dealing in the crop in the country.
The minister who was addressing farmers during a victory party of the MP of Buganganyi west, Atwooki Kasirivu, revealed that continental tobacco owes Ugandan farmers 26 billions and 1.5 billions to Kibaale district farmers. Continued
