How Do you Tamp Your Pipe?

 

(Talking Tobacco) I have often wondered if I pack my pipe and tamp the wrong way. I wonder this because I have witnessed smokers packing their pipe much tighter and packing much heavier than I would ever try. I watch them forcefully push the tobacco down into the bowl when they are packing their pipe and they tamp the same way. The funny thing is they seem to really enjoy their tobacco and it burns great for them. Continued
