(Halfwheel) Scott de la Peña of Hermosa Cigars has partnered with Don Wiggins and Mark Scott of Underground Cigars to create the company’s newest release, Tierra Santa, a cigar dedicated to honoring and celebrating the “holy land” that is Nicaragua.
The cigar is a Nicaraguan puro focusing on tobacco from Jalapa, with the majority of tobacco grown on a farm called La Finca Suya that is a partner of Hermosa Cigars. de la Peña said that by percentage, the cigar uses 92% Jalapa-grown leaves, with the other 8% coming from Estelí. The wrapper is a corojo/criollo hybrid habano grown by Hermosa Cigars. Continued
