Cuban Tobacco Sowing Begins Earlier

 

Pinar del Rio, Cuba, Dec 18 (Prensa Latina) Cuban growers in this province, famous for its excellent tobacco, bring forward the sowing season in the well-known meadow of Vueltabajo, during the crucial stage of the campaign.
The farmers of this territory, the largest producer of this leaf in the country, planted about 12.000 hectares, 85 percent of the plan, told Prensa Latina the delegate of agriculture Rogelio Iglesias.
