Historical Treasures: Cigar store Indian in Easton

(lehighvalleylive) The Indian maiden shown here stood in front of Moses Menline's Cigar Store at 11 S. Third St. in the Porter Building of Easton.
In 1873, Moses sent his brother, Emanuel, to New York City to purchase an advertising sign to place in front of his retail and cigar manufacturing facility. At the time, Menline employed 18 or 19 men producing "Planter's Delight" and "Nectar" cigars. Continued
