Tobacco Season Takes Root Inside Southside Va. Greenhouse



(lancasterfarming.com) KENBRIDGE, Va. — Despite past and current challenges faced by Virginia tobacco farmers, greenhouses scattered across Southside Virginia are filled with the seedlings for this year’s potential crop.
Since the 1600s, tobacco has been a leading cash crop in the commonwealth.
