Days Gone By: Cigar Factory in River Falls

 

(Riverfallsjournal.com) In 1886, two investors from Cumberland, H.F. Flesher and M. Miller, were in River Falls surveying the possibility of establishing a manufacturing concern that was new to the city.
They made arrangements with G.R. Griffin to rent his new building on North Main Street for use as a cigar factory. H.F. Flesher & Company, as the new business was called, began production around July 15 of that year. Continued
