Red Lion Raising Giant Cigar for New Year's

 

(York Dispatch) Red Lion [Pennsylvania] was once known as the cigar making capital of the world, and on New Year's Eve, the borough will pay tribute by raising a giant cigar above the borough building.
The 18th annual free New Year's Eve celebration will take place from 7 p.m. to midnight. Festivities include live music, a disc jockey, food, and fireworks. The celebration is free of charge and open to the public. Continued
