Cuban Artisans Awarded Tobacco-Related Prizes

 

(Prensa Latina) The work Espiga (Spike), a humidor made by José Ernesto Aguilera, won the Great Prize of the 9th Puro Arte, Pasion por la Artesania (Pure Art, Passion for craftmanship), with Cuba''s habano cigar as main topic.
Another humidor entitled Te Espero Fumando (I'm smoking while waiting for you), made by Julio Vizcaino and Fidel Lopez, won the Popularity Award while the essay El Enigmatico Mundo de las Pipas Coloniales (The Enigmatic World of Pipes from the Colonial Time) by Silvia Hernandez won the prize in the theoretical segment of the event.
