New J. Grotto Silk Premium Cigar in Connecticut Shade Wrapper

(Smokemag.com) Paul Joyal, founder and president of Ocean State Cigars, has released the third blend in his J. Grotto series of premium handmade cigars—J. Grotto Silk, which joins his original J. Grotto and J. Grotto Reserve premium cigar lines.
The new cigar line, also handmade in Danlí, Honduras like his other lines, features a Connecticut-seed wrapper grown in Ecuador under the region’s characteristic high, thin cloud cover, which offers the perfect substitute to expensive shade netting.
Like fine silk, explains Joyal, the sleek and lustrous wrapper possesses a tissue-like delicacy and virtually unnoticeable veins, producing a razor-thin burn zone that progresses evenly to the band. Continued
