Ocean State Cigars Launches J. Grotto Series Reserve

(Smokemag.com) Paul Joyal, founder and president of Ocean State Cigars, Inc., has developed the J. Grotto Series Reserve to satisfy an entirely different palate from his well-received debut cigar introduction in 2009, the J. Grotto Series. “If you like spice and medium body, the original J. Grotto is for you,” Joyal explains. “The Reserve has power, but no spice.”
Joyal describes this new boutique premium cigar line as an “intriguing, memorable smoke, noting that “Unlike many one-dimensional cigars, it displays a complexity and depth, with a unique spectrum of flavor and body profiles.” The blend consists of Honduran-grown ligero and Nicaraguan Jalapa filler, Criollo 98 binder, a Nicaragua-grown Criollo 99 wrapper.
