(Prensa Latina) Considered the birthplace of the famous Cuban cocktail "Daiquiri", immortalized by U.S. writer Ernest Hemingway, the Floridita Bar-Restaurant was honored by the world''s most renowned Havana cigar tasters.
A group of Cuban and foreign cigar tasters, members of the workshop Bayamanaco (an aboriginal word for tobacco), also named Balcon del Tabaco, celebrated the work of the establishment, one of the most famous in Cuba.
Spokespersons for the group said they held one of their monthly meetings in this restaurant, because it has excellent professionals. Continued
