(Richmond Times-Dispatch) Altria Group Inc. is raising the price of all of its Philip Morris USA cigarette brands 9 cents per pack, part of a recent spate of price increases indicating the tobacco industry still has pricing power even as smoking rates decline.
The Henrico County-based company confirmed the price increase Tuesday, effective Friday.
The company's cigarette brands include the top-selling U.S brand, Marlboro. Continued
