W. Curtis Draper Tobacconist, the District’s oldest full-service tobacconist, today announced it is moving it’s flagship store from 640 14th Street NW one block west to the corner of 15th Street and G Street NW. Drapers will be occupying a portion of what is now the White House Gift Shop, which will consolidate into a smaller storefront (The official address is to be announced). Owners John Anderson and Matt Krimm anticipate an August 2011 opening. ... W. Curtis Draper Tobacconist (Drapers) was founded in 1887 by William Curtis Draper.
