(Pittsburgh Tribune-Review) According to barista Jeff Schooley, the reaction most people have when they walk into Leaf & Bean Company in the Strip District for the first time is almost universal: "What are you guys?" It's a question that has multiple answers. It's a coffee bar, a cigar shop and a hangout that evokes the image of a Key West haunt, with its island-themed decor. But the essence of Leaf & Bean can't be quantified by what it offers in material goods. It's what patrons do there -- commune over coffee, cigars and music -- that makes it unique. Continued
