Cuban Cigar Maker Breaks His Record and Keeps on Rolling


HAVANA, Cuba, Apr 28 (acn) With the tenacity of the great champions, Cuban cigar roller Jose Castelar Cairo, best known as "Cueto", surpassed on Wednesday his latest world record for the longest cigar (45.38 M long) made by himself in 2008 and certified as a Guinness Record.
Cueto is still working on the cigar at La Triada cigar store, located in La Cabaña Fortress, in Havana, to make it longer with the goal of exhibiting it at the upcoming International Tourism Fair FitCuba 2011 in May. Cueto started his most recent deed on Monday using aromatic leafs from tobacco plantations in Vueltabajo, Pinar del Río, the land were the best tobacco of the world is grown. Continued
