(The Ledger) Bartow officials are scheduled to appear before the County Commission on April 26 to ask for more time to get things squared away on the plans to restore the former cigar factory.
Last year commissioners gave the city and anyone else involved until the end of April to come up with a plan to take over the historic building that has become a health and environmental hazard because of water damage and bird guano. Continued
