More Turkish Tobacco Soon?

ANKARA (hurriyetdailynews) The Agriculture Ministry has announced payment rates for former tobacco farmers, with an aim to encourage them to once again cultivate the plant.
Within the framework of a program to support farmers who abandoned tobacco farming and shifting to alternative crops which yield better profits, the ministry will issue a 120 Turkish Lira payment to farmers per tobacco cultivated decare in 2011. Continued
