You'll be paid, tobacco growers told

(Tillsonburg News) A Tillsonburg tobacco processor insists that 64 angry, anxious growers will get paid all of the millions of dollars they are owed for leaf that most of them delivered last fall but haven't received a cent.
"Things are slowly progressing and we are getting back to where we can clean up payment of the crop," Victor Osztrovics, president of True Blend Tobacco Co. said in an interview Thursday.
Some growers started receiving payments about 10 days ago as the company begins catching up on outstanding accounts, he said. Continued
